The following section covers the management of tests within the Test Script Library. The library is a central project repository that stores all scripts.
Scripts can be grouped as required, for example by release, iteration or system. Once scripts are established these scripts can be re-used and adjusted as required – there is no need to recreate them for future releases.
Changes made to an existing script will automatically update the corresponding script(s) in the execution set provided that the status of the script(s) in the execution set is “Not Run”. Current and historical runs will not reflect the new changes.
