SmartPlanner Overview

SmartPlanner is your Test Plan Management Tool that simplifies managing projects and components within Enterprise Tester. It allows you to plan test cycles, create test executions, and copy and move script runs with just a click.

Accessing SmartPlanner

Permissions

  • Non-Administrators: Ensure you have the correct permissions.
  • Your user must be added to the appropriate group with the necessary permissions in CatchHub.

Access the Tool

  1. Click on the SmartPlanner tile on your CatchHub dashboard. This will take you to the SmartPlanner home page, listing all your tablespaces.

SmartPlanner Home Page

  • Grid View: Your tablespaces are displayed in a grid view.
  • Load a Table: Click on a table to load it, or use the search option to find a specific table

Tablespace Information

Each tablespace in the grid view will display the following details:

  • Tablespace Name: The unique name of the tablespace.
  • Description: A brief description of the tablespace.
  • Created By: The user who created the tablespace.
  • Created: The date the tablespace was created.
  • Last Updated: The last date the tablespace was updated.
  • % Complete: The percentage of test runs in the tablespace that are completed.
  • Status Graph: A graphical representation of the overall statuses of the test runs in the tablespace.
  • Admin Controls: If you are an admin, you will see an edit icon and a delete icon for each tablespace.
