Bulk Copy

You can quickly copy Test Scripts by doing a bulk update. To do this:

  1. Expand the Package containing the Test Scripts.

  2. Double click the Package or right click and select View Package to display the Test Scripts in the Package.
    Select the items by clicking the box on the left hand side - you can Select All by selecting the top one.

     

     

  3. Click the Copy button at the top or click the split arrow next to Copy, tick Retain Structure and then select Copy.

    Retain Structure will retain any package structure being copied.


  4. A pop up window is displayed, select the “To” package where you would like to copy the items to
    .
  5. Click on the OK button, the selected items will now be copied to the selected position.

Bulk Move

You can quickly move Test Scripts by doing a bulk update. To do this:

  1. Expand the Package containing the Test Scripts.

  2. Double click the Package or right click and select View Package to display the Test Scripts in the Package.
    The Scripts will be displayed.



  3. Select the items by clicking the box on the left hand side - you can Select All by selecting the top one.

  4. Click the Move button at the top or  click the split arrow next to Move, tick Remove Empty Package and/or Retain Structure and then select  Move.

    'Remove Empty Package' will remove an empty package from the “From” package that is being moved and 'Retain Structure' will retain any package structure being moved.

     

  5. A pop up window is displayed, select the “To” package where you would like to move the items to.
  6. Click on the OK button, the selected items will now be moved to the selected position.

Show Nested Items

When you view Test Scripts you can view the Test Scripts in the package you have selected and also any sub packages if required. 
Tick or un-tick the Show Nested Items box as required.
