All dashboards are made up of Portlets that can be dragged onto the dashboard and then moved around as required. Graphs and charts are available in Enterprise Tester along with the following portlets.
My Notes
This allows you to type in any notes that you want to have displayed when you logon. It’s useful to set up reminders.
- Drag and drop My Notes from the available portlets onto your workspace.
- Click on the Configuration button and enter the required text and click on ‘Save’.
Once you have added the required portlets to your dashboard click on the button on the lower left hand side to close the portlet selector.
Dashboard Links
This allows you to access other dashboards from the current one.
- Drag and drop Dashboard Quick Launch List from the available portlets onto your workspace.
- To open another dashboard - simply click on the relevant link in the Quick Launch.
Remote Content
This allows you to view any remote content in your dashboard.
- Drag and drop Remote Content from the available portlets onto your workspace.
- Click on the Configuration button and enter the required url e.g http://enterprisetester.com and click on ‘Save’.
Rich Text
This allows you to display rich text on your dashboard. It’s useful to set up reminders.
- Drag and drop Rich Text from the available portlets onto your workspace.
- Click on the Configuration button and enter and format required text and click on ‘Save’.
Once you have added the required portlets to your dashboard click on the button on the lower left hand side to close the portlet selector.
