The relationships index is the an index that contains a flatted lists list of all point-to-point relationships between entities.
The index is composed of the set of relationships visible from the "Relationships" tab of the edit screen for each entity, this allows for complex queries to be constructed where both direct and indirect relationships can be interrogated.
