You can import data to either Create or Update Requirements and Test Scripts.
Preparing your CSV file
If this is the first time you are importing a CSV file into Enterprise Tester , the easiest way is to Export - (see Export Data) a Requirement or Test Script first.
This will then have the format with the headers that you can use as a template for your import. You can then modify the CSV file i.e. delete or add columns to be imported.
At minimum, Enterprise Tester requires your CSV file to contain the following fields (mandatory fields may change depending on your specific Field Configuration settings in the Admin Tab):
Create Requirements or Test Scripts
- Requirements Import - Name
- Test Script Import - Name, Step Description, Step Expected Result
Bulk update Requirements or Test Scripts
- Requirements Import - Name
- Test Script Import - Name, Step Description, Step Expected Result
