• Deleting External System Links will stop the synchronization between Enterprise Tester and your external system.
  • When deleting the link you will have the option to delete the link and remove all external link references or to retain these references. These include the trackback comments and the JIRA issue link placed in Enterprise Tester.
  • Note: that if you chose to delete the references. This will only affect Enterprise Tester. References to Enterprise Tester in your external system cannot be removed, but all references in Enterprise Tester to your external system will be removed.

You can delete a project link from either the External Systems configuration area in the Admin Section or from the Resources Tab.

  1. From the Admin tab, expand the Extensions folder and double click on External Systems.
    All External Systems that are integrated with Enterprise Tester are displayed in the grid.

 2. Double click to select your external system connection from the grid.
     The details of your connection will be displayed.

 

 

3.   Click on the Links tab. A list of all of your External System Links for your connection will be displayed.

4.   Highlight the link you wish to remove and select Delete from the toolbar.  

 

You'll then have the option to keep or remove the External System References.  These references include the External ID number and the external links field on the requirement on the incidents.

  1.   From the Resources tab, expand Project Links and double click on the Project that contains the link you wish to delete.  All External System Links for the project will be displayed.

  2.  Highlight the link you wish to remove and select Delete from the toolbar.



You'll then have the option to keep or removed the External System  References.  These references include the External ID number and the external links field on the requirement on the incidents.
